- No Thanksgiving Day Parade pictures this year, sorry! It was raining pretty bad that day so I didn't want to go out. The balloons were kept really low to the ground so as to shield them from the wind, so taking good pictures would have been almost impossible. Instead I do have a few new pictures in the brother's celebrity gallery. He also claims that he met Oprah but "didn't have a camera with him". Yeah right.

- Happy Halloween! Parade pictures are now up, just click here to take a look.

- It's Halloween time again! On the big night you can be sure I'll be getting all sorts of great costume pictures from the parade. To whet your appetite for that I have some pictures from today's Halloween Dog Parade in the East Village. It's kind of the same as the regular parade, except the marchers are less likely to urinate in public. Click here to take a look.

- I'm running low on pictures these days so I have some old ones from the summer to put up. For now it's pictures of the RCMP Musical Ride when it was in Brooks this summer. If you like horses and police then you'll love these photos. Click here to take a look.

- Ahoy! I just spent the Labour Day weekend in lovely Manotick, Ontario with my godparents and their family. Thank god I never had to use them growing up as I found out they're all crazy. Every year they have a family horseshoe tournament and this was my first time in it. My partner and I won a single game and lost two, but still managed to place second in the B-side final. To take a look at all the pictures just click here.

- I just added a collection of pictures from this year's Brooks Rodeo, which took place about two months ago. It's kind of like the world famous Calgary Stampede, just a lot smaller and smellier. So click here to take a look.

- The pictures of this year's Gay Pride Parade are now up. Just click here to take a look.
July 8, 2006
- I'm kind of late with the 4th of July pictures I know. I was trying to put up video instead but I've discovered I don't have the technical skills to do it properly. Here's a tip for budding amateur videographers: if you're filming with a digital camera DO NOT turn it on its side and take the video. Turns out the video comes out sideways on the computer and is very difficult to rotate (unless you have Quicktime Pro, which I don't have and am certainly not paying for). So anyways, I slapped up a few pictures of the fireworks as seen from Chinatown.

- I'll try and make up for the recent deadness of the website lately with a flurry of new pictures throughout July. I'm going to do my damndest to break my web server this month. Keep your eyes peeled for pictures of this year's Gay Pride Parade and 4th of July Fireworks to be coming shortly.
- To start us off I have pictures from the highly entertaining Alberta at the Smithsonian festival taking place right now in Washington, DC. My Alberta visitors should find it interesting, and the rest of you can either take it or leave it. So click here to see the pictures from Washington DC.
